Barbara Avdis is a Hospitality Professional and Entrepreneur with 25 years in business leadership.
She is founder of the Yades Greek Historic Hotels hotel network: handpicked historic hotels in Greece with a mission to promote the Greek cultural heritage to the international traveller by offering exceptional services to guests.
She is experienced in all aspects of hotel business formation, branding, finance, operation, customer service, management and training. She is also an advocate of Cultural Tourism and committed to developing sustainable and profitable hotels – destinations with relevant offerings in line with the local cultural heritage and communities.
Since September 2019 she joined the Greek National Tourism Organisation GNTO Board of Directors member & became Deputy Secretary General. She is a Founding Partner and Vice Chair Historic Hotels of Europe Ltd, since 2018. She was Chairwoman of Historic Hotels of Europe, 2013-2017
