Inmaculada Benito has completed the General Management Program (PDG) from IESE University of Navarra, Leadership in Complexity Programme from CEDE Foundation, the Global Chief Communication Officer Programme from ESADE and the Public Affairs Management Program (PDAP) from ICADE – Universidad Pontificia de Comillas; She has a Master in Tourism Management and Planning from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB); a Master in Hospitality Management from Sheffield Hallam University; and is a Graduate in Tourism from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB).

In October 2017 she joined Iberostar Group where she currently holds the position of Corporate Director of the CEO OFFICE, COMMUNICATION & PUBLIC AFFAIRS.

Inmaculada Benito has extensive knowledge of hotel management and the tourism sector. Since 2002, she has been linked to hotel business organizations with different positions such as Manager of the Associations of Playa de Palma (AHPP), Palma (ASHPAMA) and Agrupación de Cadenas Hoteleras (ACH). In 2010 she joined the Mallorca Hotel Federation (FEHM) working in positions as Manager and Vice President. She was subsequently elected Executive President of FEHM in May 2015, a position she held until September 2017.

As part of her academic experience, Ms. Benito was Director of the Tourism Research Laboratory of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and Director of the Department of Leisure and Tourism at the Universidad Empresa Foundation. Between January 2007 and September 2008 he was Manager of the Playa de Palma Urban Development Consortium.
